Party & Entertaining Guide

Having a party? Wondering how much wine or spirits to have on hand?

Determine how many guests you expect, multiply that number by the number or hours your party is scheduled to last and that will give you the number of servings based on "one serving per hour per person". For example: if you will have 25 guests and your party will last four hours, multiply 25 x 4 for a total of 100. You should plan on 100 servings.

If you are serving wine and/or champagne, here's a guide on how many 5 oz. servings you can expect from different sized bottles:

750 ML (25.4 oz.) 5 Servings
1 Liter (33.8 oz.) 6 Servings
1.5 Liter (50.7 oz.) 10 Servings
3 Liter (101 oz.) 20 Servings
4 Liter (135 oz.) 27 Servings

If you are serving liquor for mixed drinks, here's a guide on how many 1.5 oz. liquor servings per bottle:

750 ML (25.4 oz.) 16 Servings
1 Liter (33.8 oz.) 22 Servings
1.75 Liter (59.2 oz.) 39 Servings
